Ceramic Tile Cleaning

While ceramic tile is a very durable floor, it requires grout between the tiles. Unfortunately, the grout is by far the weakest part of a tile floor. It is susceptible to soiling and staining. When tile floors are mopped, dirt is mopped into the grout lines. This dirt builds up over time and causes the grout to change colors entirely. It is not uncommon for clients to be shocked at the change in the color of their tile and grout lines after they have been professionally cleaned. Our cleaning process completely removes all the foreign soil from both the tile and the grout lines, leaving the tile and grout its original color.

Grout, and sometimes even tile, can be sealed to slow down the soiling process and resist staining. This should be done immediately following a professional cleaning, which requires the use of a specialized chemical package and a truck-mounted extraction unit.
